A great little PS4 adventure game is heavily discounted in a new limited-time PS Store deal, and we can’t recommend it enough. Developed by solo dev Nate Berens (Redact Games), Sagebrush may have flown under the radar, but those who did play it came away impressed. The game is playable on PS5, and is a no-brainer for $0.59.
Sagebrush’s limited-time PS Store deal offers a unique adventure for under $1
Sagebrush is a first-person narrative-driven game that tells an interesting story of a cult. Don’t let its Lo-Fi 3D graphics fool you because it all works very well during the short adventure, combined with a fitting soundtrack.
Sagebrush launched on the PS4 in 2019, but it wasn’t until 2022 that I played it. It took me an hour to complete the story and pop its straightforward, but fun, Platinum trophy.
“Inspired by real-world cults, Sagebrush thrusts players into the role of a truth-seeker who must investigate the tragic circumstances of the Perfect Heaven cult’s mass suicide,” a synopsis reads. “Set in New Mexico, players explore Black Sage Ranch, the former home of Father James, the revered prophet of the Perfect Heaven cult, in order to uncover the truth.”
The PS Store deal will expire on September 4.
